Fire-Incident Two burnt to death, four injured as building catches fire in City PESHAWAR, Aug 9 (APP): Two persons died and four others injured when a blaze engulfed a three-story building at Thandi Khoi in the city, police said here Sunday. Police said six persons caught fire after a blaze engulfed the building in a jiffy, killing two and wounded four others. The cause of the fire could not be immediately ascertained. Dates of offices closure extended; shops closed up to April 7, institutes till May 31

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has extended the dates of closure in connection to control the spread of coronavirus, said a notification of KP Relief Rehabilitation and Settlement Department issued on Saturday. The decision has been taken by the KP Provincial Cabinet in its meeting held the other day. The meeting has approved that all educational institutions (public and private) shall remain closed while all kinds of examinations and assessments in schools shall be postponed till May 31. Lower Dir TDPs demand compensation for remaining families

PESHAWAR, Mar 10 (APP): The Action Committee Temporary Displaced People (TDPs) of Dogg Dara Lower Dir district here Tuesday demanded of National Management Disaster Authority (NDMA) to pay the compensation amount to remaining affected families of 2009 operation against anti-state elements in the area.
