Teams of administration closes down 19 illegal cattle markets

PESHAWAR, July 27 (APP): Several teams of administration raided different localities of the provincial metropolis and closed down 19 illegal cattle markets here on Monday. The crackdown was initiated on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Asghar, the teams also arrested 67 Nanbais for selling underweight roti and 19 persons for setting up illegal cattle markets. Dates of offices closure extended; shops closed up to April 7, institutes till May 31

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has extended the dates of closure in connection to control the spread of coronavirus, said a notification of KP Relief Rehabilitation and Settlement Department issued on Saturday. The decision has been taken by the KP Provincial Cabinet in its meeting held the other day. The meeting has approved that all educational institutions (public and private) shall remain closed while all kinds of examinations and assessments in schools shall be postponed till May 31. Lower Dir TDPs demand compensation for remaining families

PESHAWAR, Mar 10 (APP): The Action Committee Temporary Displaced People (TDPs) of Dogg Dara Lower Dir district here Tuesday demanded of National Management Disaster Authority (NDMA) to pay the compensation amount to remaining affected families of 2009 operation against anti-state elements in the area. Police-Arrest Bike-lifter gang busted, drug seller arrested DIKHAN, Feb 8 (APP): The city police busted a four-member bike-lifter gang and arrested a drug peddler in separate raids conducted here Saturday, spokesman said. The operations have been conducted on the directives of DPO Wahid Mehmood who taking notice of rising cases of theft of motorcycles directed police team to arrest the culprits involved. The police team traced a four-member gang of motorcycle thieves by conducting research on scientific lines and arrested three of them while the fourth member managed to escape.
